They beat the other finalists including Manchester Airport, Thames Water and Aviva to win their category for ‘best use of technology’ in providing customer service.
This award relates to the service ‘arrange my delivery’ a web based application that allows customers to track their deliveries ‘live’ online and actually follow the delivery truck as it approaches your home. The site includes the drivers pone number so you can even call (he’ll be on a hands free set of course!) to check his progress.
