The Times states that investing in a new bathroom could not only see householders’ increase their home’s value but will also make their property “A much more pleasant place to live”
- En-Suite bathrooms add value to your home
George Clarke presenter of The Home Show on Channel 4, says “You can improve your way out of negative equity if you maximise the space available without spending too much.” A very effective type of home improvement could be fitting an en suite bathroom, something that could probably be largely done by a competent home improvement enthusiast. Most should be able to do tiling, flooring and any simple decorating tasks themselves. Although plumbing and electrical work are best left to the professional plumbers and electricians.
Most industry authorities report that adding an en suite or second bathroom can boost house values by up to five per cent
